Henry will be turning 2 in May, and his baby brother or sister will also be joining us in May (despite being convinced AGAIN that I will be 2 weeks early) and so our little boy will be getting upgraded to a brand new toddler boy’s bedroom.
He’s still only 20 months, and despite an addiction to that little pink pig I’m sure many a parent has succumb to putting on the TV, he doesn’t have any specific fascination to anything in particular and therefore I didn’t want to go with big Dino’s on the walls, or trains choo chewing around the room. Instead I want to go for a neutral stars and stripes theme which was changeable as his tastes develop, not too babyish, but still cute – I’m thinking I only have another few years before he demands football’s over every inch of his bedroom (If Stu has any input anyway!)
On top of this theme I wanted to add a few pops of colour to liven it up and make it more boyish and include some comic style accents to the finish. I’ve got a few months yet before he makes the big move but I am just too excited, so the planning has begun and I wanted to share with you the mood board I’ve been working on to show you the kind of ideas I want to include.
I’d love to hear of any products you think would fit in well which I’ve not come across, or what you decided to go for in your toddler’s bedroom.
