As I’m sure you’re aware, this year I have been an ambassador for the innovative and revolutionising Baby Jogger and as part of this I’ve had the pleasure of testing out some fantastic products that Baby Jogger has on the market. Today’s post is one final pushchair review for you, and it’s a good one!
As a growing family, our needs have changed over the years. Henry is now 4 and walks most of the time when we are out. George, at 2, still needs the comfort of a pram, especially when I need him to sit still and not run riot down the aisles of Sainsbury’s! One of my favourite pushchairs that we’ve tested from Baby Jogger would have to be the City Tour, mainly because it is so small and compact and perfect for zipping around on public transport of visits to the city. But it’s great to have something more suitable for every day use with 2 boisterous boys! – the daily walk to school, supermarket dashes, weekend outings etc.
As you may have seen, Baby Jogger put on a fantastic event to launch the new City Select LUX and I had a great time meeting with other bloggers and getting to know the pram more. I had no idea you could fold it without having to take the seat off – I’ve been taking it apart to get it in the boot – silly me! In fact it’s 30% smaller once folded than the City Select. It was also great to see the toddler board in use, and also the amazing glider board. Henry still likes to take a load off when we are out walking distances, so this would be really great for an older child and it makes this pushchair a really good option for 2 children when the older child is slightly older. But, it doesn’t stop there in it’s prowess as a brilliant pushchair – it seamlessly converts to a proper double buggy for younger families (a triple if you added the glider board to this double configuration!) In fact, it has 20 – yes, 20 configurations!! The reversible seats can be parent-facing and forward-facing depending on how you want to set them up and I love how they are deep enough to fit both the boys, as well as calf support and of course features the recline option for the rare occasion they have a nap!
We went for this chic Slate colour, which I think looks really nice and it comes with the option to add tonnes of accessories like belly bar, carry bag, cup holder, child tray, car seat adapters, cooler bag, foot muff, glider board, hand muff (which I REALLY need!!) I love how the wheels are sturdy enough to take on most terrains and it’s been designed with a hand-operated deceleration & parking brake, which gives me all in one control. It uses a telescoping handlebar to quickly adjust to both Stuart and my optimum handle height.
As you can see not only is it a really functional pushchair it also looks the part. One of my favourite features of the City Select LUX is this enormous shopping basket!! (obviously!) It fits SO much in and is so easy to access. I love that it can be functional in so many different set ups and it grows with your family by adding extra seats or even just the glider board to suit older children when they need to rest their legs! I hope you found this review useful, I’d love to know if you have this pushchair and what your favourite thing about it is!
